Vienna Waltz Ensemble - Performed May 15, 2002



The Vienna Waltz Ensemble is a traditional combination of two violins and double bass presenting unique Viennese dance music composed from about 1770 to World War I. Exquisite dance music by composers such as Haydn, Rossini, and Johann Strauss (Jr. and Sr.) as well as some that are not so well known are sure to delight the audience. Sprinkled throughout the performance is commentary combining special anecdotes as well as historical facts.
